Recently, the General Office of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Government issued the "Supporting Several Policies and Measures of Guilin World Tourist Cities (Trial)" (hereinafter referred to as "Measures"), focusing on ecology, culture, recreation, consumption, etc. Make every effort to build a world -class tourist city in Guilin.

The "Measures" clearly support the construction of world -class landscape tourism cities, strengthen the strength of all parties in the Lijiang River's ecological environmental protection, and promote the restoration and reimbursement of ecological environmental protection in the Lijiang River Basin. Give full play to the ecological advantages of world -class landscape cities, build a large park and large scenic spot system that builds urban travel, and promote sustainable use of landscape resources.

The "Measures" proposes to build a world -class tourism attraction, strengthen the protection and utilization of historical and cultural cities, and build a highland of red cultural inheritance. At the same time, promote the promotion of cultural tourism, and give priority to arrangement of special funds for tourism development in the autonomous region to support Guilin's cultural tourism development.

The "Measures" clearly builds a national health tourism demonstration base, promotes Guilin City to vigorously develop the six health tourism industry chains of "medical, health, health, health, intelligence, and learning", and build a number of characteristic living in the health industry cluster. Promote Guilin City to accelerate the development of sports tourism industries such as outdoor sports, build a demonstration city in Guangxi Sports Tourism, and promote the integration of sports and leisure tourism.

The "Measures" proposes to support Guilin to create international consumer center cities, national culture and tourism consumption demonstration cities. Support Guilin City to build a China -ASEAN tourism commodity trading base, and create a national foreign cultural trade base, special service export base, and Guangxi service outsourcing demonstration city.
