The total planned area of ​​the Togo Waterfall in Yellow River in Shanxi is 116 square kilometers, and the core scenic area is 34.3 square kilometers. It is a scenic spot that integrates the natural landscape of the Loess Plateau and humanistic attractions. In 2002, it was approved by the national 4A -level scenic spot. In 2016, our province proposed the work idea of ​​creating the three major tourism sectors of the "Yellow River, Taihang, and Great Wall", which brought unprecedented development opportunities to the 5A creation and development of the Hugou Scenic Area. Giving high attention, the provincial and municipal cultural tourism departments have also given great support. In July 2020, the Culture and Tourism Department of the Jin and Shaanxi provinces signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to open the road of Qin and Jin to create 5A. On December 9, 2020, the Houkou Waterfall passed the landscape quality review of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and is officially included in the national 5A -level scenic spot creation list.

The Yellow River Putou Waterfall is a cultural and tourism resources commonly owned by Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ji County and Yichuan County of Jin and Shaanxi jointly established a national 5A -level tourist scenic spot to achieve mutual benefit and win -win results.
