Asia's first professional freight hub airport -Ezhou Huahu Airport was completed and launched

On the same day, at the lobby of the new Ezhou Huahu Airport Terminal, the Civil Aviation Central South Regional Administration issued an airport license to Hubei International Logistics Airport Co., Ltd.

At 11:35 am, a SF Aviation Boeing 767-300 full cargo aircraft was equipped with a batch of fast pieces, flying from Ezhou Huahu Airport to Shenzhen Baoan Airport, marking the formal operation of Ezhou Huahu Airport.

Ezhou Huahu Airport is located in Yanji Town, Lintong Economic Zone, Ezhou City, Hubei. It is 76 kilometers from the center of Wuhan. It is close to the Yangtze River Golden Waterway. Wire. Starting here, the 1.5 -hour flight circle can cover 90%of the country's total economic volume. Passengers consignment of goods can reach the country overnight and can connect the world the next day.

The airport is positioned as a freight hub, a passenger branch line, a public platform, a cargo airline base. The recent planning target is 2.45 million tons of goods in 2025. It will become an important portal of freight -oriented international air freight hub, multimodal transportation centers dominated by international aviation freight, important nodes of global aviation logistics, and China Aviation Express connecting the world.

After the airport is officially navigable, this year will gradually open passenger routes from Ezhou to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Qingdao, Ningbo and other places. The people of the Eastern area are dreaming of a plane at the "door of the house".

From preliminary planning in 2014, it was completed and put into operation by 2022, which lasted 8 years before and after. Tens of thousands of builders who robbed sunny days and rainy days, China Construction Third Bureau and other participating units fought in Malaysia, and were committed to creating a "four airport" integrating Ping An Airport, Green Airport, Smart Airport and Humanities Airport.

Ezhou Huahu Airport is a major productive forces layout project included in the national "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan" outline.
