Academician Meng Zhaoyuan was born on September 13, 1932 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. He was admitted to the Beijing Agricultural University Horticultural Department of Gardening in September 1952. He graduated in July 1956. The Department of Greening (predecessor of the Beijing Forestry University Institute of Garden) has been teaching. He has participated in the construction of landscapes in Beijing Forestry University and the preparations of the Department of Landscape Garden. Former deputy director of the Scenic Garden Expert Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban -Rural Development, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Scenic Garden Society, and the leader of the Beijing Municipal People's Government Garden Green Consultant Group.
