After 84 years!Earlier on July 16th, the two high -furnace South Road officially opened ~

Good news is here! After a lapse of 1984, it was opened to traffic on the morning of July 16th!

The upcoming South High Furnace South Road is the only urban road in the north of Shougang Park District to continue the front of the factory. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Beixin'an Village became a major commercial logistics town in Beijing. A Jingxiang route connecting the village to Shijingshan has gradually become a bustling commercial street, spreading all over the guest shop merchants, and later became the predecessor of Beixin'an Street. The east end of the street is a fishtail north fork, and the temple mountain gate at the foot of Shijingshan is the fish head from the west end of the street, and the form is like a big fish. At the foot of the mountain, there is a mountain village.

In 1938, the Japanese pseudo -expansion of the factory area cut off the western half of the street into the factory area, moved the people out, and demolished the Western Temple. This area is built into a sintering and blast furnace area, becoming an earlier steel production dense area, and the Beixin Antong section has become the only surviving commercial concentration. In the following decades, the steel industry continued to increase production during the New China period. In the 1980s, the industry became the administrative and commercial center of Shijingshan District. The district government has gradually depressed after the relocation. In the past ten years, the city's cities have been renovated. Beixin'an has also entered the shed reform and implemented the road according to the new plan. The name retains strong industrial memory.

On the morning of July 16th, this road was officially opened, which will be a convenient channel connecting cities and parks. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd blast furnace is tied to the north side of the road. Eighty -four years later, the road was re -opened, the city was overwhelming, and the park was finally integrated into the city.
