Xiamen Customs released statistics yesterday that in the first half of this year, the foreign trade import and export value of our city reached 444.32 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3%year -on -year, refreshing the history of import and export value in our city in the first half of the year.

Data show that in the first half of the year, the foreign trade import value of our city was 218.37 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 3.2%; export value was 225.95 billion yuan, a year -on -year increase of 13.6%.

In June, the value of foreign trade in our city reached 85.23 billion yuan, an increase of 12.7%year -on -year. This is another monthly and export value after May after May. In May this year, the city's import and export value was 83.05 billion yuan.

In the first half of the year, the city's total value of imports and exports in general trade reached 327.86 billion yuan, accounting for 73.8%of the city's total foreign trade value; processing trade accounted for 13.2%, and bonded logistics accounted for 12.7%.

Private enterprises are still the largest main body of foreign trade in our city. In the first half of the year, the import and export value of our civic enterprises reached 167.96 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1%year -on -year, accounting for 37.8%of the total foreign trade value of our city; the proportion of state -owned enterprises accounted for 36%, and foreign investment enterprises accounted for 26.2%.

In terms of import and export products, exports are mainly electromechanical products and labor -intensive products. In the first half of the year, the city's export mechanical and electrical products were 97.54 billion yuan, accounting for 43.2%of the total export value; 7 major labor -intensive products including export textiles and clothing were 64.5 billion yuan, accounting for 28.5%. The import is mainly electromechanical products and agricultural products. In the first half of the year, the city's imported mechanical and electrical products were 44.25 billion yuan, accounting for 20.3%of the total import value; imported agricultural products were 40.47 billion yuan, accounting for 18.5%.

ASEAN, the United States and the European Union are the top three trading partners in our city. In the first half of the year, the city imported and exported 84.57 billion yuan, 65.77 billion yuan and 511.2 billion yuan to ASEAN, the United States and the European Union, respectively, and both achieved double -digit growth. The top three sources of imports are ASEAN, the United States and Australia; the top three markets for exports are the United States, the European Union and ASEAN. In addition, the import and export of the countries along the “Belt and Road” was 151.88 billion yuan, an increase of 16.7%year -on -year.

The city's trade with BRICS countries is constantly deepening. In the first half of the year, the city's import and export scale of the city reached 38.42 billion yuan, an increase of 20.4%year -on -year.
