During the period of stopping the water, water quality fluctuations, red tide, and floating moss may occur, local water body odor, and extreme conditions may be dead. The Lake Lake Second Drainage Pumping Station and the Xidi Gate Project started in 2020. At present, the main project of the pump gate has been basically completed. The pump gate consists of 3 pump groups and 3 holes. Effectively reduce the impact of extreme rainstorm weather on the lake area, and accelerate the ability of water body exchange.

The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of this year. After the completion, the flood control standard of Lake will increase from the current 30 years to 50 years, and the moisture blocking standard will be increased to 200 years.
