◎ Today is the anniversary of the birthday of Academician Qian Lingxi (July 16, 1916-April 20, 2009). He is the pioneer of China's computing mechanical engineering structure optimization design. It has made important contributions to cultivating talents. In 1955, he was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
