In this exhibition, there is your childhood!

The child's life is like a five -light kaleidoscope, which also makes adults who accompany the child recall the past and have thousands of thoughts. Recently, "Your Childhood, My Memory -Children's Image in Contemporary Photography" exhibition opened at the Biyun Art Museum in Pudong. Through the image of children in the past few decades, the exhibition not only allows the audience to re -examine parent -child relationships, understand children's psychology, but also understand the history of social and cultural development since the reform and opening up.

This exhibition presents 10 groups and 99 works by Cai Yirong, Hu Jieming, Jiang Jian & Jiang Yiming, Lu Yuanmin, Lei Lei, Ma Liang, Su Jianhua, Su Sheng, Wang Jinsong, Zhu Hao, and 99 works. Su Jianhua, the former editor of "Volkswagen Photography" magazine, took photos of her daughter's life in the 1980s and 1990s. It was an earlier group of works in the exhibition. The audience can see a little girl in the game, dressing, crying, and traveling with her mother.

"These photos now seem to have nothing special, but in fact it has broken through some inertia thinking of children's photography at that time." Gu Yan, a professor at the School of Journalism of Fudan University, said that at the beginning of the reform and opening up Lovers are an economic burden, so they pay great attention to color and composition. Su Jianhua's photos face the child with direct and sincere emotions, reflecting the daily nature of life, and retaining a lot of historical and cultural information.

In Gu Yan's view, the exhibitors are not only a record of the growth of photographers for the growth of children, but also the comprehensive manifestations and pursuit of photographers' own children's outlook, aesthetics and photography outlook. In the work "Son", the artist Hu Jieming put the thin son in the magnificent urban space, presenting the relationship that people must face the real world of people and the city, but it also seems to show the father's attention and outlook for his son's future. This work is also used as a poster for this exhibition.

The artist Zhu Hao's "Ten -year -old Bora Film" was filmed with the "Piece" camera to set the next father's personal memory clip of his daughter's growth, which became a precious wealth for family memory.

The rapid development of digital technology has made us review our childhood and rebuilding childhood imagination. Shanghai Ma Liang's "Blue Plum Bamboo Horse" series, based on the childhood photos of the husband and wife as the material, combined with digital technology to combine the "group photo" of two little guessing green plums, in order to reconstruct the childhood, imagine intimate relationships, and weave a new personal memory. Born in the 1980s artist Lei Lei, was influenced by the art film, and the animated image of Sun Wukong, who made a big trouble, became the background of his childhood memory. His work "One Man's Art Film Studio" is the form of a device to himself. The return and reconstruction of childhood memory.

Some works of this exhibition are not directly taken by children. Starting from the position and viewpoint of sociology, it is a work that combines the method of social phenomena that combines ideas of conceptual photography. Although the "Standard Family" series from Beijing's artist Wang Jinsong is not directly targeted at children, it has presented the unique survival status of children in the unique family form.

As the interactive part of the exhibition, the Pudong Biyun Museum of Art previously collected childhood images from the public, and some of them were presented at the exhibition site through device works. The collection event continues with the exhibition period, and the audience can also upload and share childhood images on the spot, so that the content of the exhibition can be continuously updated.

The exhibition will last until September 18. During the exhibition period, Pudong Biyun Art Museum will also invite curators, artists, commentators, etc. to bring many activities and lectures related to children's image creation.
