Summer is coming, and high temperatures continue, and it is imperative to prevent heat stroke. The Municipal Social Security Bureau reminds that employers should reasonably arrange working hours during high temperature weather, reduce labor intensity, and take effective measures to ensure the health and life safety of workers. When the maximum temperature of the day reaches above 39 ° C, the outdoor open -air work should be stopped on the day; the highest temperature on the day reaches 37 ° C to less than 39 ° C (excluding 39 ° C), and the outdoor open -air working hours must not exceed 6 hours, 12 am to 16:00 Outdoor open -air work should be suspended; the maximum temperature of the day reaches above 35 ° C to less than 37 ° C (excluding 37 ° C). The employer shall take the round -to -round rest time to shorten the continuous operation time, and the laborers of outdoor open -air operations shall be arranged to work overtime. The employer shall not deduct or reduce the salary of the workers due to the stop work of high temperature weather and shortening the working time.
In addition, before high -temperature weather comes, employers shall conduct a healthy inspection of workers with high temperature weather operations. For workers with heart, lung, cerebrovascular diseases, tuberculosis, central nervous system diseases, and other physical conditions are not suitable for high -temperature operating environment, they must adjust their jobs. Occupational health inspection costs shall be borne by the employer. Employers must not arrange for pregnant female workers and minors to work at high temperatures above 35 ° C and work at the open air and temperature above 33 ° C.
Eligible workers can receive a monthly high temperature allowance of 300 yuan per month
According to the "Guangdong Province's High -temperature Weather Labor Protection Measures" and other regulations, between June and October each year, enterprises should issue high -temperature allowances to work in the outdoor workers who work outdoors in summer. From June 1, 2021, adjustment and improvement of high temperature allowances in our province to be 300 yuan per person per month. If the high -temperature allowance is converted to the number of days in accordance with the regulations, each person is 13.8 yuan per person per day.
Workers can get one of the following conditions: engaged in open -air positions; employers cannot take effective measures to reduce the temperature of the operating venue below 33 ° ℃. If the employer fails to distribute high temperature allowances in accordance with regulations, workers can report complaints with the human resources guarantee department in our city, and the telephone number is 12333. If the employer fails to issue high -temperature allowances to the workers, the competent human resources and social security authority shall order corrections within a time limit and give up; if the overdue is not corrected, a fine of less than 10,000 yuan or not.
In addition, employers must not reduce the wages of workers due to the distribution of high temperature allowances. For example, during high temperature weather from June to October each year, employers should provide free drinks that meet food safety standards for workers who work in open -air work and indoor high -temperature work, but the cool drinks provided cannot be filled with high temperature allowances. If a cool drink is not provided in accordance with regulations, it will be ordered to make corrections.
