Former deserted stone beach transformed into a green grassland

——The 40 years of artificial grass in Kaima Village, Sedici District, Naqu City

The picture shows the children of Kaima Village playing in the sea of rapeseed.

In Kaima Village, Roma Town, Sedici District, Naqu City, there is a grassland composed of rapeseed flowers and alkali grass. In the summer season, the seven thousand acres of rapeseed flowers bloom in full bloom, becoming a golden scenery on the turquoise pond grassland.

Who can think of such a beautiful pasture, more than 40 years ago, it was a deserted stone beach!

At that time, the deserted stone beach, which was not born, was not only unable to graze, but also often shaved the wind and the dust was full of dust, which made the local herders miserable.

In order to change this situation, local cadres decided to lead herdsmen to plant grass artificially and vowed to turn this deserted stone beach into a green grassland.

However, the reality gave them a heavy blow.

The stone on the deserted stone beach seems to be picked up forever. It was picked up a layer, and the soil turned, and it was a layer of stones, but the grass never grew out.

However, the toughness of the cadres and the masses did not give up. There are many stones, then pick it up layer by layer, until it is piled into a hill next to it; if the grass does not grow, it will improve the soil environment and change the variety of pasture. Everyone firmly believes that the stone always has a day of picking up, and the grass must grow.

In this way, a generation and one generation of cadres and the masses tested artificial grass while picking up stones.

Slowly, Cao really grew out.

At the beginning, it was a small grass bud that was sporadic in the stone seam, and then gradually grew into a semi -high -grashed shepherd, and it was a little bit connected.

With the unremitting efforts of local cadres and the masses for 40 consecutive years, this barren stone beach has finally become today's green grassland.

Especially since 2017, the demonstration base of Gald Ecological Animal Husbandry Industry in Galdi Ecological Animal Husbandry Industry in Naqu City has joined the artificial grass planting of the Kaima Village. Since then, this grass -growing career has the support of professional scientific and technological personnel and modern technology.

In 2021, with the help of the Qinghai -Tibet Plateau Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Beijing Forestry University's professional research team, the pastoral planting here has another new level -mixed planting of rapeseed and pasture.

The blooming rapeseed flowers are not only the beauty of Jin Chancan, but also nutritious pasture. The rape stalks left after harvesting are the winter ranch of cattle and sheep.

"Around September each year, when we harvested pastoral grass, we will leave the grass roots and rape stalks in the grass field. Not only can we keep the soil and soil without loss, but we can also put the looped yaks in the grassland to eat rape stalks. The meat quality will also be better. "Ming Galta, the person in charge of the Gald Ecological Animal Husbandry Industry Demonstration Base, talked about the artificial grass project, and it was endless. More fertile, the next year's pasture is better. "

However, the technicians of the demonstration base and the masses of Kaima Village were not satisfied. After many years of artificial grass -breeding test exploration, everyone found that the pastoral grass and rapeseed flowers are born in one year. After harvesting the pastoral grass each year, the land is vacant for more than half of the time. This is not a long time for the ecological restoration of the pasture.

After many experiments from scientific researchers, at the end of April this year, the base organizations mixed 5,000 acres of alkali grass in rapeseed.

Alkaline grass is a perennial plant that has the characteristics of drought resistance, cold resistance, alkali resistance, and wind -resistant sand, which helps the grassland ecological repair. If this year's trial is successful, this grass field will be changed all after planting.

In July, it was the most beautiful time of Kaima Village. At a glance, the borderless yellow petals were spread out, swaying with the wind, and the blue sky and white clouds and grass were more enthusiastic and beautiful.

There are countless arranged stones beside the sea of rapeseed, and each one is picked up by the local cadres and the masses from the grass. Nowadays, they stand quietly by the pasture, like a monument, witness the changes in this land, and witness the hard work and persistence of the cadres and masses of Kaima Village over the past 40 years.

In the future, there may be no spectacular rapeseed sea in Kaima Village, but a brand new grassland will be born here, together with the herdsmen here to welcome a beautiful new life.
