In order to support the import of iron ore, the General Administration of Customs has introduced inspection and supervision measures such as "putting on and then inspection" and "applying for quality inspection in accordance with the enterprise". "Putting first" refers to the import and quarantine (including radioactive testing, foreign miscellaneous quarantine, digital weight appraisal, appearance inspection, and samples, etc.) that imported iron ore after on -site inspection and quarantine). "Inspection" refers to the laboratory testing and issuing a certificate after the product is off. If the "application for quality inspection in accordance with the enterprise" refers to the imported iron ore consignee or agent does not need to issue an imported iron ore quality certificate, the customs will be released directly after qualifying the import inspection and quarantine of the imported iron ore.

Zhang Wenxie, a member of the Zhanjiang Customs and Commerce Department, said that through the implementation of this series of inspection and supervision measures, the time of importing and customs clearance of iron ore was greatly compressed, which was compressed from more than 20 days before the reform to 2 days. Losses in other links, improve the efficiency of port clearance and port turnover rates, and effectively reduce the cost of enterprise imports. In the first half of this year, the barrel inspection and supervision of the imported iron ore was 25.947 million tons, an increase of 10%year -on -year.
