The "Specifications" clarify the scope of applications. The query results should generally be issued on the spot. Population information involves citizen privacy. The lawyers who apply for inquiry and the police of the inquiry unit shall strictly keep confidentiality and shall not leak it to the outside world. Law firms or lawyers who submitted false materials for population information or illegal leakage, and improper use of population information query results shall be held accountable for relevant units and personnel in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, rules, and industry specifications.
