At 4 pm on July 13th, the reconstruction project of the Chengzi Highway entered the city section (Huangjinglou Road) was officially opened to traffic. It only takes 5 minutes to run from the second section of the South Third Ring Road to Central Road to Central Road.

The project designer told reporters: "The design of the down -through tunnel can retain the functionality of the road so that the vehicles that need to be passed directly can be passed quickly."

The total length of the project is about 1363 meters, and the total length of the tunnel is about 1097 meters. The downward tunnel is a two -way six -lane, and the auxiliary track is a two -way four -lane, with a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The construction of the project was started in October 2019. It is one of the major people's livelihood projects of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. It is also an important path connected to the Chengdu toll station and the Third Ring Road from the Zihuo high -speed Chengdu toll station.
