The south gate of the factory living area located on Jianjian Road has now become a protection unit.The protective monument in front of the gate on the west side of the gate summarized its history with hundreds of characters: the state -owned Zhengzhou Fifth Cotton Textile Factory, referred to as Zhengzhou Guoban Five Plant or Zhengnan Five Factory.It was established in 1956 and was put into production in 1957.The site is located in the south, the Longhai Railway in the north, the Songshan Road in the east, and the Zhengnian Fourth Factory in the west.The Zhengmian Five Factory is one of the medium -sized textile companies built in the first five -year plan after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The gate of the living area that has been retained to this day is the four -pillar flat -top architecture, which is simple and generous.
