There are more than 200 incidents in one year!Using the soft ladder of the aircraft, you need to pay attention to these safety points

In 2021, the British Maritime Investigation Bureau (UK MAIB) received more than 200 reports on incidents related to the soft ladder of air -citizers. Among them, 87%of the soft ladder was not installed correctly, and the rest was found to have major defects. After the report, it is determined that the charging ladder failure is caused by the poor condition of the side rope. In this case, conventional visual inspections will almost be discovered. MAIB reminds that if the rope on the cited ladder is worn or aging at any degree, it should not be used again.
