VMIX user guidelines: push flow settings-setting interpretation

The following is a quick overview from the steps to start from streaming to web

1. Open the streaming window in VMIX

Click the [Settings] icon next to the VMIX main window.

2. The stream media window will appear

3. Details of input streaming media providers

Select streaming providers from the drop -down list. If the provider is not listed, choose a custom RTMP server.

If you list your provider, you only need to log in and select a channel to transmit it directly from VMix to the channel, as shown in the figure:

Alternatively, you can use the following instructions to specify the channel settings.

Custom RTMP Server

VMIX supports most third -party streaming media providers (also known as CDN) and special streaming media servers, such as micro -like.

You need to obtain the following information from the streaming media provider you choose:

Push address: rtmp:// http://example.com/live

String code: fill in the stream code provided by the media provider

4. Select quality settings

The quality settings you choose will depend on a variety of factors, including speed and player connected to the Internet.

The default setting is 360P 1.5Mbps, which can provide low -quality streams. Most broadband Internet connections can view the stream.

You can also click the [Settings] icon to open the flow quality window, you can customize these settings in it to meet your requirements.

5. Select the application

By default, free ffmpeg is installed with VMIX and provides high quality

Traffic media transmission through H264 video and AAC audio.

Alternatively, you can install free Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder (FMLE) in order to use VMIX for streaming processing. This can be downloaded from the Adobe website.

If your streaming provider does not support FFMPEG, or you need MP3 audio coding support, you can use FMLE.

PS: Unless you understand, don't set it. If you confirm that your graphics card has a hard decoding chip, you can check it. The general game graphics card has only one decoding chip.

6. Start push flow

Click "All Start" to start streaming. During streaming media playback, the button will lighten up in the streaming media window and the main VMIX window.

After a few seconds, if you receive an error, check the settings in step 3 again. To ensure that they match the detailed information provided by the streaming provider.
