The Three Gorges Group leads the special project of the National Key R & D Program

On June 22, the launching meeting of the "Large -scale Energy Storage System Cluster Intelligent Coordinated Control Key Technology Research and Application" project was held in Beijing. The project is a special project of the national key R & D plan "Energy Storage and Smart Grid" project. The project lead unit is the Three Gorges Group.

The meeting heard the overall implementation plan of the project and the reports of various topics. Participating experts and representatives agreed that the project is of great significance to support the country's realization of "dual carbon" goals and new power system construction. The overall implementation plan of the project meets the requirements of the guidelines and task books. The technical route is clear, the task division of labor is clear, the progress plan is reasonable, the organizational management mechanism is sound, and the risk response measures are effective. The relevant person in charge of the Industrial Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology highly affirmed the preparations and organizational management of project technology research and development, and hoped that during the implementation process, its advanced and original results should be continuously summarized and promoted and applied in a timely manner.

Wulanchabu's new generation of power grid friendly green demonstration power stations

In the context of the construction of new power systems with new energy as the main body, the project conducts research on core issues such as planning and configuration, collaborative regulation, analysis and evaluation of the balanced and stable operation of the energy storage support system, and based on the three -generation power grid of the Three Gorges Ulanchabu. The friendly green power station demonstration project and the Inner Mongolia regional power grid are conducted and verified. Its results will help improve the level of safety and stability of the power system and provide technical support and practical examples for my country's new energy development and energy transformation.

Under the "dual carbon" strategy, the scale of new energy installations has continued to increase, and the pressure of peak adjustment of power systems has increased. The energy storage system can realize the energy conversion, storage and release of electrical energy and other forms, and the supporting effect on energy transformation has appeared. The Three Gorges Group will focus on the important strategic opportunities of the development of the energy storage industry during the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan" period, and cooperate with the participating units to do a good job of project research and development and engineering demonstration application work, obtain more original innovation scientific and technological achievements, and break through more key technologies of commonality. Contribute to the Three Gorges for the construction of the new power system construction and the scale of energy storage.
