EU officially approved Croatia to use the euro since next year
On the 12th local time, the EU Council approved Croatia to use the euro from January 1 next year, thus completing all the legal approval procedures at the EU level.Croatia will become the 20th member of the euro zone.
The European Commission stated in the "2022 Convergence Report" released on June 1 this year that after evaluation, Croatia, Bulgaria, Czech, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Sweden applied to the EU member states in the euro zone. Croatia is the only oneA country that meets the four related standards of price stability, public finance, exchange rate, and long -term interest rates.To this end, the European Commission proposes to approve the use of the euro from next year.
