The "14th Straits Forum · 2022 Cross -Strait Disabled People Exchange Carnival" event was successfully held in Xiamen, Fujian on July 12. Xu Weize, vice chairman of the CPPCC of Fujian Province, and member of the party group, and Zhao Sujing, a member of the Chinese Disabled Persons' Federation, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. More than 100 people from the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, representatives of the disabled organizations, experts and scholars, and caring people, through the form of the conference and video cables on the spot, focus on the issue of "jointly creating a good life of the disabled" to focus on the construction of barrier -free environment, rehabilitation, and employment Exchange discussions and stories sharing in other fields.

In his speech, Zhao Sujing emphasized that the carnival event had a positive impact on strengthening the interaction of cross -strait interaction in the field of disabled. In the cross -strait interaction, the disabled brothers and sisters have become an indispensable important participant, promoter and sharing. The China Disabled Persons' Federation attaches great importance to and actively consolidates the exchanges and cooperation between the disabled people on both sides of the strait, continuously expands the field of exchanges, carries out pragmatic cooperation, and enhances each other's consensus.

Since the first appearance of disabled people on both sides of the strait appeared in the Straits Forum for the first time, it has been successfully held for seven sessions. It has become an important platform for exchanges between the disabled people on both sides of the strait and has attracted widespread attention from all walks of life.

This year's Carnival is hosted by the China Disabled Persons' Federation, the Fujian Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation, the Taiwan Youth Exchange Association of Taiwan, the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone Management Committee, and Xiamen Disabled Persons' Federation, the Taiwan Public Management Association of Taiwan, Taiwan Yawen Children's Listening Foundation, Macau Fukang Club, Xiamen University China Disabled Persons Development Research Center and other Cross -Strait and co -organized by Macau disabled organizations.
