"Youth Network Volual Report (2022)" was released!

Fang Zengquan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Journalism and Communication of Beijing Normal University, released the "Youth Network Quality Survey Report (2022)". The report is based on cognitive behavior theory and past investigations. Six modules to investigate: online attention management capabilities and target positioning, online information search and utilization capabilities, network information analysis and evaluation capabilities (Abiliness to Evals), the network information Online impression management capabilities (Ability of Network Security), network value cognition and behavior capabilities. A total of 15 indicators used in the research model, and 79 questions have been comprehensively measured for adolescent network literacy.

The report shows that the general average score of youth network literacy is 3.56 points (5 points), which is slightly higher than the passing line, and needs to be further improved. The highest score of network value cognition and behavioral capacity dimension (3.93 points), and the minimum score of network impression management capabilities (3.03 points). This shows that contemporary teenagers perform well in the level of online morality, and they need to be improved in terms of network impression management capabilities.

At the same time, the report also put forward the core concept of "empowerment", "empowerment", and "Fuyi" is the core concept of adolescent network literacy. Based on this concept, a plan to improve the personal ability of youth network literacy. Education, building an ecosystem of youth network literacy education, and the social environment of youth network literacy cultivation, etc., have proposed a constructive improvement plan for young media literacy education, and called on individuals, families, schools, government, media enterprises and society. Multiple levels of comprehensive efforts, coordinated and promoted each other, and jointly constructed network literacy education ecosystems to promote young people to enhance network literacy and comprehensive healthy growth.
