Russian media: 25 -year -old net red blogger as Deputy Minister of Ukraine, with a salary of 2.5 times Zellenzki

RT said the new deputy minister seems to have rarely participated in public policy affairs before he was appointed by Ukrainian Prime Minister Shimagal.

According to Ukraine media reports, Anna Sergeyeva was appointed on June 10. Before that, she had little experience in the public department, and only had a nine months of unpaid "volunteer adviser" in the department. As the person in charge of a beauty industry management consulting company, she has worked in the private sector for 3 years.

According to the personal information released by the Ukrainian Public Policy Department, Sergeyeva graduated from the University of Kievlas Shevchenko 3 years ago to focus on journalism. In 2021, she obtained another bachelor's degree in law and is now taking further graduate courses for journalism.

From 2019 to 2022, she also operated a management consulting company called "Service Revisor". According to Ukrainian media reports, the company provides services to barber shops and beauty salons, but still lists Shelgieva as its owner and "ultimate beneficiary".

According to her own social media Facebook page, before being appointed as the Deputy Minister, she also worked on the news department of the Ukraine "1+1" TV channel and the BBC. According to reports, she is also an Internet celebrity blogger who has more than 92,000 fans on social platform Instagram. However, her account on the platform has been recently set as private, and the content is no longer visible.

The Ukrainian Public Policy Department also claimed that in the past four years, Shelgieva has "actively participated in public activities" and contributed to "socialization of children with physical and mental disability" and provided support for lonely old people and orphan. The departments' statement added that she had previously been a "consultant" of "voluntary status" as the Minister of Social Policy in Ukraine.
