The flower industry cooperation between the two countries is broad. In the future, we will further strengthen exchanges, explore the cooperation and organize the China Egyptian Flower Forum, organize Chinese flower companies to visit Egypt, and the 2022 China International Flower Horticulture Exhibition hosted by the Chinese Flower Association, 2024 Chengdu World Garden Association, and 1125 11th. The development of the Ethiopian flower industry is only 18 years. In 2021, the exports of flowers exceeded $ 212 million, accounting for more than 80%of the foreign exchange revenue of the national gardening industry. At present, 80%of products are exported to the Netherlands, and other export markets include France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Britain and other countries in the Middle East. Roses are the most widely planted fresh -cut flowers in Ethiopia, and there are stars, golden silk, forgetfulness, chrysanthemum, carnations, etc. The Ethiopian Horticultural Producer Exporter Association (EHPEA) is composed of companies engaged in production and exports of flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs, seedlings, and vegetable seeds, with more than 120 member units. Ethiopia currently has five routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Chengdu, and shipping conditions are increasingly improved. At present, most of the fresh cut flowers in Ethiopia are exported to Europe first and then sold by European companies. If they can strengthen direct trade between the two countries, they will greatly reduce costs and further promote the development of the flower industry between the two sides.
