In terms of environmental air conditions, the nation's air quality improved in the first half of this year. The proportion of excellent days in the prefecture -level and above cities reached 84.6%, a year -on -year increase of 0.3 percentage points; the PM2.5 concentration was 32 micrograms/cubic meter, a year -on -year decrease of 5.9%. The proportion of excellent days in Beijing -Tianjin -Hebei and surrounding areas rose 1.3 percentage points year -on -year, and PM2.5 concentration decreased by 4.1%year -on -year.
