Shen Haitao is a native of Yangping Township, Yongsheng County, Yunnan. People are named, Shen Haitao's skin is dark, tall and burly, and full of speaking. In work and daily life, Aiu Brother talks, laughs, and acts capable, making him always the focus of the crowd.

Shen Haitao, born in 1978, entered a mature public welfare organization as a volunteer just after graduating from school. In 2016, after the election of the general meeting, it became the second chairman of the Yongsheng County Rural Community Development Association.

Brother Aiu said that in the nearly 20 years from 2003 to 2022, we have always been "crossing the river with stones", based on the model of exploring the development of social organizations in remote areas. There is no stable source of income in the village, and the villagers are united to discover the local characteristic industries to drive farmers to increase their income; to publicize households to encourage and help women to start their own businesses.

From the initial association "volunteer" to the "president" of the association, Aiu Brother has been paying attention to the group of left -behind women in the countryside. "Ama's Pharmaceutical Garden" public welfare project.

A large number of male labor in the village goes out to work, and the majority of women left behind have gradually become the core of the community and the core of the family. Yongsheng County, a mother -in -law, knows the role of many Chinese medicinal materials. The child is sick or the family is uncomfortable. They will hold a small hoe and dig some medicinal materials behind the house. Therefore, every family has a small vegetable garden -like pharmaceutical garden. Some farmers will specifically plant some medicinal materials, which is convenient for their own needs when they need it; on the other hand, they will be sold out to subsidize their homes. During the investigation, Aiu also found that the planting point of "Ama" not only was scattered, but it was also difficult to generate large -scale benefits. It would always be serious because the planting technology was not in place, which caused serious "medicine damage". A busy work.

How to mobilize the power of the grandmother and transform the power of the community to the persistent development of the community has become an urgent demand. This gives Aiu Brother bold ideas. If the planting experience is taught to them and the large -scale planting market demand is sold for sale, the women who stay at home will have income to help left -behind women start their own business.

With such an idea, Brother Aiu began to study at the relevant local medicinal material planting bases and consult with relevant experts. He found that some medicines in the farmers' Chinese medicine park were relatively large in market demand. In response to the actual situation, the Yongsheng County Rural Community Development Association has implemented the "Ama's Pharmaceutical Garden" series of projects since 2016 to support the development of altitude -characteristic agriculture -medicinal materials.

How to make everyone planting large -scale, change "ideas" and allow them to participate, this is a problem facing the project at the beginning. The Aiu Brother visited a family one by one to tell his thoughts in a way that farmers could understand. After visiting him, he found that he could not do it at all, and the idea must be action.

In 2016, "Ama's Pharmaceutical Garden" first received special agricultural support funds, applied for central financial projects, and supported 40 local left -behind women's development livelihoods. The supported farmers, under the background of relatively high prices of planting materials in that year, the annual income of farmers reached about 70,000 yuan, which greatly encouraged farmers' determination to continue planting medicinal materials. Farmer farmers continue to plant and can obtain stable income from it. Other farmers see that they can get considerable income through planting medicinal materials and start trying to plant.

After continuous investigation and inspection, Brother Aiu found that these Chinese medicinal materials were scientifically cultivated and cultivated, which can not only bring good benefits, but also form a sustainable economic model. Brother Aiu feels that to benefit more farmers from it and inspire them to participate actively, they must seek more financial support. At the same time, multi -party collaboration is needed to support rural left -behind women's scientific, organized, standardized, and large -scale development of the Chinese medicinal materials industry.

After continuous efforts, the project has received the support of many caring units such as China Minsheng Bank and China Rural Development Foundation (formerly China Poverty Alleviation Foundation) and Bosch China. So far, it has raised more than 5 million yuan, and has served more than 100,000. In the past 7 years, "Ama's Pharmacy" has benefited 40 families from the first scale in 2016. So far, 500 families in 6 village committees in 6 towns and villages in Yongsheng County have been benefited.
