Archaeologists recently found a kiln site in the north and south slopes of Yijiashan, Yongxing Village, Zuoquan Town, Fuling City, Hunan Province. Through comparative analysis, the construction period of the kiln site was initially judged that the construction of the kiln site was in the middle and late Eastern Han Dynasty, about 1900 today. This is the first time in the Xiangdong area to discover the stiff ceramic and celadon kiln site during the Eastern Han Dynasty.

In April of this year, the staff of the Lingling kiln management institute in Liling City found a kiln site during the kiln site in the Laushui Basin. In order to further clarify the situation, with the approval of the State Administration of Cultural Relics, the Zhuzhou Cultural Relics Bureau organized archaeologists in the municipal and county -level museums and the Fuling Kiln Management Office to rescue the archeological excavation of the residual kiln site.
After an archeological investigation, the kiln was a long bar -shaped dragon kiln built by the mountain. The kiln head has been destroyed, and some kiln beds and kiln tails are stored. The kiln is 7.2 meters long and 2 meters wide to 2.15 meters. The tail is relatively flat. The top of the kiln has collapsed, and there are a large number of kiln bricks and braised soil blocks in the kiln. It contains less objects, with square checkered hard pottery slices and squares. These porcelain tires are hard, and they are mostly gray. The glazes are mostly applied to the wound and shoulder position of the utensils.

Archaeologists have found that ceramics unearthed in the kiln are the same as the common ceramics in the middle and late brick room tombs in the middle and late Eastern Han Dynasty in the kiln. It is initially judged that the age of the Eastern Han Dynasty was in the middle and late Eastern Han Dynasty.
According to the executive team leader of this archeological excavation work, Huang Yangqiu introduced that the survey area of Yongxing Village, Zuoquan Town is 3.6 square kilometers. A total of 17 kiln industries have been found. Dai Kiln has accumulated 4 places.
Liling porcelain has a long history. According to experts, the archeological discovery has updated the previous cognition of the history of Lingling porcelain, that is, as early as the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Lingling Laushui Basin had the tradition of making large -scale production porcelain and hard pottery. "This excavation provides new information for studying the development of the development of the ceramic industry in Hunan and the development of the kiln industry during the Han and Jin dynasties in the middle of the Yangtze River." Said Wen Guoxun, director of the Archeology Department of Zhuzhou Museum.
