The Siggian section of the Qinghai -Tibet Railway is 759.784 kilometers in length. It starts from Xining in the east. The ending point is Golmud City, Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is currently the most important external railway channel for the Qinghai -Tibet Plateau.

According to Li Jian, the quality project manager of the Xining to Gelmu section of the Qinghai -Tibet Railway, China Railway Construction Industry Group, introduced that the quality improvement project will be changed to the 4 station rooms of Delingha Station, Ulan Station, Haiyan Station, and Yiyuan Station of the full bidding section. Expansion and reinforcement construction. Among them, the Delingha Station was renovated and expanded. It was the largest station building in the entire line. The scale of the platform was 2 7 lines. The total construction area was expanded from the original 4783 square meter to 10636 square meters. After the line transformation is completed, the Xining to Golmu section will turn on the "Hulk" EMU with a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The travel time will be reduced from about 7 hours to 5 hours, which will greatly shorten the travel time and improve transportation efficiency.

According to the relevant person in charge of China Railway Qinghai -Tibet Group Co., Ltd., after the completion of the Qinghai -Tibet Railway's Xige section improvement project, the service scope of the Fuxing EMU on the Qinghai -Tibet Plateau will be further expanded.
