Recently, according to the "General Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government on Agree to Agree with Changsha to Jishou Expressway into the planning and repair of the Hunan Provincial Expressway Network and Starting the Implementation of Changsha to Anhua Section in advance", the Changji Expressway (Chang'an Section) is about to start Construction.

It is reported that the initial design of the Changji Expressway starts from the southeast side of the Xiangxiang Nose Forest Park of Changsha Ring Expressway in Changsha, Yuelu District. In Luoxi County, connect Hangrui Expressway, and then along the G56 Hangrui Highway to Jishou, the total mileage is about 330 kilometers, of which the section is 50 kilometers and the new mileage is about 280 kilometers.

At present, the most convenient driving route from Jishou to Changsha is the reasons of Jishou to Changde (Changji Expressway), and then through the Changzhang Expressway to Changsha, the whole journey is 389 kilometers, and the total time is more than 4 hours. The completion of Changji high -speed will shorten the mileage about 60 kilometers to further drive the economic and social development of cities along the line.
