In terms of environmental air conditions, the nation's air quality improved in the first half of this year. The proportion of excellent days in the prefecture -level and above cities reached 84.6%, a year -on -year increase of 0.3 percentage points; the PM2.5 concentration was 32 micrograms/cubic meter, a year -on -year decrease of 5.9%. The proportion of excellent days in Beijing -Tianjin -Hebei and surrounding areas increased by 1.3 percentage points year -on -year, and PM2.5 concentration decreased by 4.1%year -on -year.

At the same time, the national prefecture -level and above cities of cities are 144 micrograms/cubic meter, an increase of 4.3%year -on -year; the proportion of excellent days in the Yangtze River Delta region and Fenwei Plain decreased by 5.4 percentage points and 5.1 percentage points year -on -year. 2.9%and 4.3%.
