Scam process
Case number one
Ms. Liu, Nanjing, saw an announcement in the community saying that "a free maintenance of the gas cooker of residents in the community in the near future", also said that "a limited number" was also called, reminding the owner to register as soon as possible.
Thinking that my own stove has not been maintained for more than a year. In addition, the signature of this announcement is the "Security Inspection and Maintenance Service Center", so Ms. Liu let go of her wishes and reserved the maintenance time based on the phone call.
Later, a man who claimed to be a presencer came to Ms. Liu's house and went to the door to check for ten minutes. Then she told Ms. Liu's gas stove at home. There was a lot of hidden safety hazards and needed to be replaced immediately.
Ms. Liu immediately panicked and quickly obeyed the suggestion of the other party, and bought a set of "brand" stoves worth 2,600 yuan from the other party.
However, after the inspector left, she found that the new cooker couldn't get angry. When she contacted the insider again, the phone was already unable to call.
Case 2
Ms. Zhang Chongqing saw that someone was sending "free cleaning air conditioners" in the community owner group. Thinking that summer has arrived, her home air conditioner does need to be cleaned. Essence
After the appointment time, a man in a casual clothes and a mask came to Ms. Zhang's house. After removing the air conditioner, it was simply scrubbed. Then it said that the cooling effect of the air conditioner was too poor to add fluoride.
