The rapid growth of China's digital economy accounts for nearly 40 % of GDP proportion

According to the "China Digital Economic Development Report (2022)" released by the China Institute of Information and Communication, the number of Chinese digital economy reached 4.55 trillion yuan in 2021, an increase of 16.2%year -on -year, accounting for 39.8%of GDP. The status of the digital economy in the national economy is more stable and supportive.

Wang Zhiqin, deputy dean of the China Institute of Information and Communication, introduced that from 2002 to 2011, the growth rate of China's digital economy was lower than the average GDP growth rate of the same period, and the digital economy was only part of the national economy. Since 2012, the proportion of my country's digital economy has been increasing, and the average annual growth rate of the digital economy is significantly higher than the average growth rate of GDP during the same period, which has become a key force to support the high -quality development of the economy.

The "Status and Trends Insights of China's Digital Economy Development and Trends" released by the China Institute of Electronic Information Industry Development shows that China has become one of the countries with the largest amount of data and the richest data type. It is estimated that by 2025, the global proportion of China's total data will be close to 30%.

Zhang Li, president of the China Institute of Electronic Information Industry Development, said that data shows that the results of China's digital economy and the real economy are gradually prominent. In the future, with the digital transformation of traditional industries, the scale of digital efficiency will further expand, and the overall scale of the digital economy will continue to grow.

"On the whole, while China's digital economy maintains a high -speed growth, it is more firmly based on the foundation, better structure, and more motivation." Zhang Li said.

At the meeting of the Fifth Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the "Research Report on the China Digital Economic Development Index" was released. Wang Yunhui, deputy director of the institute, said that from the perspective of digital industrialization indicators, the communication industry is an important factor in the rapid growth of the digital economy. From the perspective of digital infrastructure indicators, new infrastructure, data elements and related auxiliary companies are the source of high -speed growth. In addition, China's digital talent indicators have also grown rapidly.
