On the morning of July 8th, an elderly man in Pucheng County, Weinan, Shaanxi Province fell to the ground while using a metal pole to pick locust rice (dry locust flower buds) on the side of the road. It is currently treated in a local hospital.

A video shows that a person is lying under the wire rod by the road, and there is a long pole around the wire. Another video shows that the junction of the rod and the wire is still flashing sparks, and foreign objects falling on the ground with smoke.

On the afternoon of July 8, the witness Mr. Wei told Jimu Journalist that the incident occurred near the intersection of Yaoshan Road and Donghuan Road, Pucheng County, Weinan, Shaanxi. At more than 10 am on the 8th, when Mr. Wei passed by, he saw the elderly falling to the ground when he passed by. The old man's tricycle car was filled with a lot of picked locust rice. The metal pole of the old man picking Mi looked four or five meters long, and he was still on the wire and kept sparking. Passers -by did not dare to step forward to rescue. About four or five minutes later, the old man gradually woke up, and soon the ambulance rushed to take him away. Several staff members of the power company arrived and tried to move the elderly's hardcore by professional equipment.

Mr. Wei speculated that when the old man should use a metal pole to pick the locust, he accidentally touched the wire and caused an electric shock. "There is a transformer in the incident, and there are also reminders to prevent electric shock. He may be a big deal."

Jimu Journalists called Pucheng County Power Supply Company for multiple mechanical and electrical calls, but no one answered. The staff of the Pucheng County Emergency Administration said they couldn't know the matter.

The reporter learned from the staff of the Emergency Department of the Pucheng Hospital of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital that the elderly at the electric shock was under the treatment of the hospital, and there is currently no danger of life.
