When he came to the entrance of the Panzhihua Technician School of Panzhihua Group in China, Zeng Zhengchao saw a familiar name in the school's propaganda column: Zhou Shuchun.

As early as junior high school, he often heard his cousin mentioned Zhou Shuchun's name. The cousin is the welding worker of the Nineteenth Metallurgical Group. He has participated in the national trial of the 41st World Skills Contest under the guidance of Zhou Shuchun. He mentioned the welding master. The cousin's eyes were full of admiration.

"Become a person like Mr. Zhou!" Zeng Zhengchao resolutely chose the welding major.

However, the learning process is not smooth sailing. As a beginner, Zeng Zhengchao was often wounded by the arc light. As soon as night, his eyes were like entering the sand and kept crying.

At the beginning, there were more than 40 classmates in the class. After a day of practice, there were only half of the students left in the class the next day.

There was no word "deserter" in Zeng Zhengchao's dictionary. He rolled up his sleeves, and his arms were full of scarred scars. During the stretch, people squat under the steel plate. The iron water of 2000 degrees Celsius falls from top to bottom. "At this time, you must hold back anymore. When your hands shake, you may produce bubbles and affect the quality of welding." Zeng Zhengchao said.

The scar of welding light is a must -have for growth. After two years of training, no matter what kind of welding process, he's bulky welding torch in his hand is all in his hand. Realize the "zero" breakthrough

In 2014, Zeng Zhengchao, who was excellent in results, was selected by layers and successfully selected the national team of the 43rd World Skills Contest. On behalf of the Chinese team, the Chinese team launched an impact on the gold medal of the welding project.

However, Zeng Zhengchao's start was not smooth.

As soon as he entered the field, he found that the qi protection torch interface was different from the domestic interface, the welding machine current was large, and the welding material was high. "Welding is actually flame embroidery. Welders need to accurately grasp temperature, current and techniques. The equipment is not smooth, which is a big trouble." Zeng Zhengchao said.

Sure enough, the first day of the game, Zeng Zhengchao's most grasped scoring detection only scored 3 B -levels and lost 6 points.

However, Zeng Zhengchao was not panic, and he was still in an orderly and calm. The next day is the most critical part of the entire game -pressure vessel welding with a score of 36 points.

This time, Zeng Zhengchao held the pressure. The welds of pressure vessels require a total of 6 layers of welding. Zeng Zhengchao accurately grasped the width, contraction balance and temperature of each layer. At the bottom of the bottom, he achieved high -level blind welding with muscle memory. The outermost cover layer, he also carved the weld's width and high and low levels to ensure the perfect appearance.

Perfectly passed the penetration test of 70 kg of water pressure, and Zeng Zhengchao scored the highest score in the audience, and the ranking increased significantly. Two days later, Zeng Zhengchao was getting better and better, the data grasped accurate, the techniques were easy, and the operation felt stable.

Finally, on August 16, 2015, St. Paul, Brazil, accompanied by applause and cheers, Zeng Zhengchao stood on the championship podium. At this moment, the Chinese team finally achieved a breakthrough in the gold medal of the World Skills Contest. This year, Zeng Zhengchao was only 20 years old.
