This is a unique bird with a nest and hatching eggs on the branches. The "guest" has a particularly high face value and a long tail, which has caused the curiosity of school teachers.

The school's research bird -related experts followed the bird's daily life and observed. It was not expected that this bird turned out to be a world -class endangered species -Shouzhu Bird.

The appearance of the male and female birds is different. The male tail feathers are very long, basically five -sixths of the body length, but the tail feathers of this bird are not long. The associate professor of the School of Biological and Food Engineering of Huaihua College and a member of the Huaihua Animal Protection Association determined to Sun Jun based on these characteristics that this bird is a female bird with a life belt.

Shouzhu birds are rare and rare species. In 2012, they were included in the Red List of Endangered Species of the World Nature Conservation Alliance. Shouzhu bird, also known as "band bird", one bird and two a good names. Shou and 音 are the same, "Shou" means longevity. Therefore, the meaning of the blessing of the bodies in the life is regarded as the auspicious bird since ancient times.

The long -leaf forests or bamboo forests in hills and plains in the life belt birds are very rare in Hunan. This time, the Shou Bird suddenly came to the nest breeding in Huaihua University, indicating that the campus environment here is very beautiful and the trees are abundant.
