Taoyuan Puyang Street: Repair reservoir sluice to ensure farmland irrigation

"I did not expect that you are efficient in doing things so fast, so don't worry about the problem of water use of farmland!" On June 29, residents of Yaohe Community in Yaohe Street, Puyang, Taoyuan have praised them.

It turned out that some people reported that the gates of the Shanmugang Reservoir in Yaohe Community in Yaohe Street in Puyang Street were damaged and could not be used normally, which affected the irrigation of downstream farmland.

Farmers' irrigation is related to the vital interests of the masses. After learning about this, Liyang Street immediately organized water conservancy staff and cadres of the community committee to rush to Sugiogang Reservoir to launch a fault investigation and reservoir emergency response operation.After inspection, the reservoir gate was blocked due to silt, weeds, and garbage stacks.The street water conservancy technicians then dived with diving equipment. After three hours of hard work, they finally opened the gate to ensure the normal water diversion irrigation of the lower reaches of the reservoir.

On the same day, the staff also conducted data monitoring and safety hazards of the reservoir to solve the urgency of the masses while eliminating water use concerns and effectively protecting the interests of the masses.
