At the Milan River Reservoir at the foot of Alkinshan, a blue gemstone is inlaid on the edge of the Taklama Ganan Desert. Not far from the reservoir area, more than 3,000 acres of green corridors woven from 300,000 trees, glowing into vitality. Blue and green complement each other, forming a beautiful picture in the desert.

On July 2nd, strolling in the lush woods, looking at a strong growth of Populus euphratica, the party branch secretary and general manager of Ruoqian Milan Water Conservancy and Hydropower Co., Ltd. thought about it.

In 2013, Wang Feng retired from the Ministry of Ruofeng County. He loved this land, and gave up the opportunity to return to the city and joined the job as soon as he was founded. Since then, he has stayed away from his parents and children and take root in the desert.

When the reservoir was initially built, the surroundings were deserts that were not born of grass. "I can eat two or two soils a day, not enough nighttime to make up for the day" is a true portrayal here.

"I suggest that from now on a large area of ​​tree planting." In order to improve the ecological environment of the warehouse area, the company established the Ecological Greening Committee with Wang Feng's suggestion. The party branch decided that he led 50 employees to do his job well, and planted a forest with a large area and green desert.

From the perspective of outsiders, a hydropower enterprise planting trees in the desert has nothing to do with the development of the enterprise. However, Wang Feng believes: "Harmonious coexistence of man and nature is the basis for the persistent development of enterprises."

The raging wind sand makes "sowing green" facing great difficulties. After a strong wind, the saplings that long for three or five years were uprooted, and the "grass squares" made from reeds were also torn.

Earth cultivation, watering, fertilization, supplementation ... Every spring and autumn, Wang Feng and colleagues are home -based, hard -working, and carefully care for each seedling like their children to ensure the survival rate of saplings. Under his influence, the surrounding people also voluntarily joined the "Bowing Green" army.

"Well, planting a tree is more difficult than raising children!" Employees lamented. The Gobi Beach is rained and rains, and the sand soil has a large alkali content. In addition, wild animals bite and damage, resulting in extremely low survival rate of saplings. Wang Feng led all employees to build a pond, installed pumps, paved pipes, and replenished planting over and over again until the seedlings were born with tender buds. Every day without light, he got up and opened the pump to water. He was busy returning to the company's station until 11 pm.

The company invested millions of yuan each year to buy seedlings, which cost huge. The 36th regiment of the second division of Ruoqian County and the Corps gave sapling, pipes, and manpower. In order to encourage morale, he took the lead in carrying out "labor skills competition", and incorporated 50 employees into the tree planting group, mechanical group, pipeline melting group, electrical group, drip irrigation group, watering group ... PVC overwater pipeline installation, valve well and drip irrigation belt installation.

Hard work pays off. On the day after day, 300,000 jujube, euphratica, apricot trees, peach trees, walnuts, grapes, and small leaves were planted into the vast desert. Once, it has become a forest and green. Eight years have passed, and the weather around the Milan Reservoir is getting less and less, and the air quality has improved significantly. A regional "green oxygen bar" is quietly formed in the desert.
