The use of waste textiles is not only conducive to improving the utilization of resource utilization, solving the problem of shortage of textile raw materials resources, but also conducive to saving land resources, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and protecting the ecological environment.

At present, the development and utilization of old clothes is not sufficient. Many people in the home with a large number of old clothes are proof. Although the old clothes can be sold to the waste, some of the clothes are still very new, and a pound is only a few cents. Whether it is online or offline, there are second -hand clothing transactions, but this method is not widely popular. There are many newer old clothes that cannot be sold, let alone those old clothes that cannot be worn. The recycling channels for old clothes are limited. Many old clothes have not been recovered, and of course, they are not effective as resources. Also, many people have prejudice for old clothes and are unwilling to buy clothes that others have worn. These all hinder the cycle of old clothes. In 2020, the amount of waste textiles in my country generated about 22 million tons, with a circular utilization rate of only about 20%, and the output of waste textile regeneration fibers was about 1.5 million tons, which shows that there is still much room for improvement in the recycling capacity and level of waste textiles.

Improving the recycling utilization rate of waste textiles, saving resources, effectively supplementing the supply of raw materials for textile industry, alleviating resources and environmental constraints and dirt -reduction and carbon reduction. The cycle utilization rate of waste textiles has reached 25%, and the output of waste textile regeneration fibers has reached 2 million tons. By 2030, a relatively complete waste textile circulation system will be built. The cyclic use rate of waste textiles will reach 30%, and the output of waste textile regeneration fibers will reach 3 million tons.

To achieve this goal, we must improve the recycling network, broaden the recycling channels, recycle waste textiles, and promote the comprehensive utilization of waste textiles. Improve the series of standards such as waste textile recovery, disinfection, sorting, and comprehensive utilization, and establish and improve the standard system for the use of waste textile circulation. Accelerate scientific and technological innovation and break through a number of waste textile fiber recognition, efficient sorting, blended materials separation and regeneration key technologies and equipment. At the same time, through various forms, the use of waste textiles is used to strengthen the high -quality propaganda of recycled textiles, use the cycle of waste textiles into the theme activities of energy conservation and environmental protection, advocate simple and moderate, green and low -carbon lifestyle, and create a joint participation in the waste textile cycle in the whole society Use a good atmosphere.
