Guangzhou Yuexiu Police detects a case of illegal absorption of public deposits

In the name of "wisdom pension", with high returns as bait, attracting middle -aged and elderly people to invest in the meeting. The seemingly stable "old -age" project is actually a "pit old" project. Recently, Guangzhou Yuexiu Police has been investigated carefully to detect a case named for pensions and illegally absorb public deposits.

In March of this year, the Economic Investigation Brigade of the Public Security Bureau of Yuexiu District received an alarm, saying that it was deceived RMB 32,000 by a company from March 2020 to February 2021. After receiving the report, Yuexiu police immediately organized police forces to conduct investigations.

After investigation, the police found that through the distribution of leaflets, organizing free visiting tourism and lectures, the company used the concept of wisdom pension to "play gimmicks" to attract middle -aged and elderly people to join members, invest in pension apartments, pension services and other projects. The form of "pension subsidy" is cashback, and the annual interest rate can reach 20%. Subsequently, the company went to the building because of "poor management", which caused the principal of more than 50 citizens to invest in the capital, and the total amount was as high as more than 11 million yuan.

After careful investigation, the police handling the case mastered the evidence of the company's illegal absorption of public deposits. On May 25, the police handling the case arrested the company's legal person and actual operator Xing (male, 51 years old, Heilongjiang) in Baiyun District.

At present, the suspect Xing has been criminally detained by Yuexiu Police in accordance with the law for suspected illegal absorption of public deposits, and the case is still under investigation.
