A few days ago, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of national and provincial first -class undergraduate construction points in 2021. A total of 17 majors of OCT University were identified as national first -class undergraduate construction points, 8 majors were identified as first -class undergraduate majors in Fujian Province Construction point. At this point, the school has a total of 52 first -class undergraduate construction points, accounting for 76.4%of the admissions majors. Among them, there are 35 first -class undergraduate majors in the national level, accounting for 51.47%of the admissions majors. The third round of national first -class undergraduate major construction points and the total number of first -class undergraduate major construction points in the school accounted for the second proportion of enrollment majors in the school ranked second in Fujian Province.

It is reported that the Ministry of Education has implemented the "Double Thousand Thousands Plan" of first-class undergraduate majors since April 2019. It plans to build about 10,000 national first-class undergraduate professional points and 10,000 provincial first-class undergraduate majors in 2019-2021. Now the completion of the three batches of identification work has been carried out, and a total of 1,1761 national first -class undergraduate construction sites and 1,5727 provincial first -class undergraduate majors.

According to reports, professional construction is a comprehensive and long -term systematic engineering, and it is a "four beams and eight pillars" for building high -level undergraduate education and cultivating first -class talents. The approval of the first -class undergraduate professional construction point is an important manifestation of the school's adherence to "based on the original", the implementation of the "four regression", and the promotion of first -class undergraduate education.
