Shuanggang Street, Luyang District: Little Insect Big World

In order to further strengthen the parent -child relationship between parents and children, and to increase the popular science knowledge of children, recently, the Shuanggang Street Science Association of Luyang District, United Stada Camp Education, launched a "understanding natural exploring insects" popular science activities in the Baiba Community. An appreciation of insects and common insect specimens stimulate young people's curiosity and closeness to the world of insect world.

At the beginning of the event, the popular science teacher used the vector of fossils and amber to let them observe and understand insects in hundreds of millions of years ago, feel the evolution of insects in nature, and solve children's doubts about fossils. "These fossils and amber are too interesting! We can't see it in the book, let us open the eyes." Wang Wang, from the South Guo Garden Elementary School, said with emotion. It is understood that a total of 16 boxes were displayed on the scene. You can see different types of butterflies, ladylings, spiders, dragonflies, praying mantis, and Tiandee, etc., making children full of eyes.

This activity not only allowed children to understand the common sense of insects, but also improved their practical operation and innovation ability. They knew that insects were vital to maintaining the ecological environment, and they were well received by parents and children.
