A joint statement on deepening civilization exchanges and mutual learning under the framework of the Lancang River -Mekong cooperation (Abstract)

Xinhua News Agency, Myanmar, Bugan, July 4th. On July 4, 2022, the seventh foreign minister of the Lancang River -Mekong cooperation will be held in Bagan, Myanmar. We, the Foreign Minister of Lanmei Six Kingdoms, recalled the consensus of the third leader meeting of Lanmei Cooperation on strengthening cultural and artistic cooperation, supporting deepening civilization exchanges and mutual learning, and issuing the following statements:

Lan and Mei Six Kingdoms are connected, cultural blindness, and humanistic exchanges are long. During the period of the new crown pneumonia's epidemic, Lanmei Six Kingdoms watched and helped, actively communicated, shared the experience of promoting cultural and tourism recovery, and discussed to promote humanistic exchanges and mutual learning measures, and established a model of international cooperation.

In order to restore and further promote the exchanges and cooperation between the six countries in the humanities, we support the six countries' cultural and tourism departments to carry out the following cooperation:

I. Encourage the cultural and tourism departments of various countries to continue to maintain close contact and promote humanistic exchanges in various forms.

Second, support each other's international art festivals organized in the region, and encourage exchanges and dialogues between mainstream cultural institutions and cultural celebrities.

3. Welcome the Asian Tourism Promotion Program proposed by China, encourage countries to share experience in cruise, rural tourism, and smart tourism, support the development of Lanmei Tourism City Cooperation Alliance, build Lanmei Tourism Brands, and jointly carry out tourism marketing.

Fourth, encourage Lanmei countries to conduct dialogue around the theme of world cultural heritage and cultural relics protection.

5. Encourage the training of talents between Lanmei and Meng, and strengthen the dialogue and exchanges between people and young leaders in all areas of Lanmei and tourism.

6. Encourage Lanmei National Culture and Tourism Industry to share experience and tourism development experience, and provide more reference and reference for the recovery of the Lanmei regional epidemic.

7. Promote Lanmei Youth to participate in the development of tourism, especially digital development.
