The theme of the first vocational skills contest in the autonomous region is "Strong skills can work and create the future." The competition standard is the preliminary competition of the county (city, district) in accordance with the requirements of national vocational skills standards level 4/intermediate worker and above occupational skills level requirements to formulate technical documents; all localities (states, cities), central Xinjiang enterprises, autonomous regions directly -affiliated enterprises, and autonomous regions directly -affiliated institutions The trials and the finals of the autonomous region will formulate technical documents in accordance with the requirements of national vocational skills standards three/senior workers and above occupational skills levels or industry enterprise evaluation specifications.

In this contest, personnel who have a new household registration or study in Xinjiang (social security for more than one year) and personnel who are 16 years old in the year before August 1, 2022 can register for the competition within the legal retirement age. Those who have won the title of "China Skills Award" and "National Technical Experts", and those who have obtained the "National Technical Expert" declaration in various types of competitions from 2019 to 2021, will no longer participate as contestants.

The competition is organized in accordance with the graded selection, small concentration and large decentralization methods, and is divided into county (city, district) preliminary competition, prefecture (state, city) trials and autonomous region finals. The finals of the autonomous region are organized by various places (states, municipalities), central enterprises in Xinjiang, autonomous regions, and directly -affiliated institutions of autonomous regions.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of the Autonomous Region, the county (city, district) preliminary competition, prefecture (state, city) trials and autonomous region finals simultaneously launched the "two exhibitions and three signing contracts" activities.
