Aftab is the head of the safety, health and environment (HSE) management system of Carlo Hydropower Station. This work is particularly difficult to spread and spread in the new crown pneumonia.

"We started deploying epidemic prevention work in Pakistan's first new crown pneumonia case in the first half of the first half of the first half of the case, minimizing the flow of personnel and peak construction. This is the biggest challenge encountered in my career." Aftabu said Essence

Under such pressure, from May to June 2020, Aftabu took more than two months of safety and health management.

Why did that decide to stay?

The first reason is the professional literacy of Chinese partners.

According to Aftabu, during the project construction, all participants, including customers and contractors, promised to complete the goal at the prescribed time. For more than two months, there were nearly 4,000 construction staff on the on -site construction personnel at the Carlort Hydropower Station, and the safety and health accident was zero.

Aftab was the "old employee" of the Three Gorges in 2015. He said that many Pakistan colleagues, like him, did not want to leave.

Before joining the employment, Aftab worked at a hydropower station in Muzhafara, Pakistan. As the children grew up, he hoped to create a better educational environment for them.

"As Premier Chardz said, the people's happy life is our direction of struggle. Children get better education. I can work on a wider platform is my direction of struggle."

Just one year after the employment, Aftab was named the "Excellent Employees" of the Three Gorges International in 2016.

"The Three Gorges encourages employees to develop. The technology and standards adopted by the project are international levels, and the partners are also multinational companies. Here, as long as you work hard, you can grow up and have the opportunity." Aftab said.

But this was not the most touched.

In 2020, a new crown pneumonia epidemic was outbreak, and a large number of engineering construction projects were stagnant, and workers could only stop working, which made many unhappy Pakistan family worse.

"The company does not take the initiative to dismiss an employee." On the one hand, the Carlo's project team strictly implements the construction site prevention policy to ensure the health and safety of employees. On the other hand, build various channels for home employees to work remotely.

However, the epidemic duration far exceeds expectations. Aftab said that although someone finally left, the company not only understood their decisions, but also provided some compensation. "This is very difficult, and it is also a great decision."

The concept of ecological civilization in China is integrated into the construction of the China -Pakistan Economic Corridor to help build Pakistan, which has a greener and sustainable development. At the same time, in accordance with the international environment and social sustainable policies and performance standards, the Carlort project has been recognized by many parties.

In January 2022, the Carlort Electric Power Co., Ltd. won the "Corporate Social Responsibility Resisted Performor" award issued by the Pakistan State Power Supervision Bureau; in February 2022, the Carlort project won the Pakistani national environment and biological diversity and community development Two awards for service.

The achievements of these achievements are inseparable from the efforts of Afta, its team and Chinese partners for the sustainable development of the project.
