Hubei Changyang Qingjiang Paper Power Power Station project was approved

On June 29, the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission formally approved the approval application for the project approval project of Qingjiang Qingjiang Pumping Storage Power Station in Changyang, Hubei.The project has become another approved pump storage project after the Luo Tian Ping Pingyuan Pumping Power Station, and it is also the first -time pumping storage project in Western Hubei.

The installed 1.2 million kilowatts of the Changyang Qingjiang Pumping Power Station project is the key implementation project of the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the National Energy Administration's "Pumping Middle and Long-term Development Plan (2021-2035)".Five "Plan" key construction projects.After the project is completed, it will undertake the tasks of Hubei Power System Peak, Valley reclaiming, frequency adjustment, phase adjustment, energy storage, and emergency reserve for reserve. It can save 368,000 tons of coal consumption of power grid each year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 917,800 tons each year.

In the next step, Hubei Energy, which belongs to the Three Gorges Group, will coordinate the work of the next stage of the project, strive for early construction and early results, and contribute to helping build a new type of power system and serve the country's "dual carbon" strategic goals.
