Pengjiang militia built a "wind -proof wall" to protect the lives and property of the people in the jurisdiction

Affected by the typhoon "Siaba", in the past few days, the Pengjiang District has continued to rainfall, and some town (streets) have different degrees of floods. The flood in the West River affects drainage during the flood season, and many rural waterlogging levels continue to rise.

Today (July 3), the emergency request of the Third Defense Office of Pengjiang District, the Ministry of Persons and Military Affairs of Pengjiang District launched a militia of 20 people to devote themselves to flood control and disaster relief work. The production and life order is stable and the safety of life and property. As of 9:30 am on July 3rd, the Militarian Emergency Team of the Ministry of Military and Armed Forces had ordered 312 people trapped in an orderly manner, and no casualties had occurred.

At 6 am, the road leading to the village was drowned in the mountains and Tianxiang District of Tangxia Town. The farmland on both sides of the road was also flooded, and the first floor of the villagers' house was overwhelmed.

After the superior dispatched militia support orders, the Ministry of People's Armed Forces of Pengjiang District immediately launched an emergency plan, set up a rescue disaster relief command team, mobilized 20 militia emergency teams, and carried multiple vessels and rubber boats to the scene.

Under the unified arrangement of the rescue and disaster relief headquarters in Pengjiang District, the militia players carried out rescue and disaster relief in the flooded area, reinforced the defeat and the embankment, assisted the trapped villagers, and assisted and guided the transferring personnel to the resettlement location.
