Beginning on July 1, the first typhoon of the 49.5 MW wind power project of the Dunhuang Haijie Beihu began to be lifted.

It is understood that the project is the first wind power project in Dunhuang City, with a total investment of 400 million yuan. It will build 13 typhoon power generation units, and at the same time, it will support the construction of a 110 kV booster station.After the project is completed, the average annual power generation can reach 145.87 million kilowatt -hours, and the annual output value is expected to achieve 42 million yuan, which is of great significance to promote the upgrading of the energy structure of Dunhuang and accelerate the transformation of green low -carbon.

Dunhuang has abundant wind resources, has a vast area, and has a level of wind energy resources. The average annual wind speed of 100 meters in Beihu is about 7.4 meters per second. Wind power technology can develop about 28 million kilowatts.Unique wind resources and vast loading space make Dunhuang the ideal area of wind power.
