Professor Xuhuji, currently the director of the Department of Science and Research at the Long March Hospital of the Naval Military Medical University and the director of the Rheumatology Immunology Department, concurrently served as a professor of Tsinghua University and a clinical researcher at Tsinghua University.

Professor Xu is the "Chief Scientist" of the Ministry of Science and Technology 973. He has successively served as deputy chairman of the Rheumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of the Rheumatology and Immunology Society of the Chinese Physician Society, chairman of the Shanghai Medical Association Rheumatology Specialist Branch, and a member of the Chinese Human Pathom Group Research Cooperation Group (HPCC).

Over the past 39 years, Professor Xu has persisted in medical care, and based on clinical practice, he carried out research on autoimmune and infection immune diseases, and achieved a series of systematic original research results. 237 papers have been published, and the published papers include mainstream SCI magazines such as Nature, Lancet Rheumatology, J Exp Med, PNAS and Ann Rheum Dis. Report Abstract

Ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatoid arthritis are the most common systemic autoimmune diseases. High prevalence, high residual rate, and high treatment costs. The two diseases are the most inherited diseases in systemic immune diseases, while immune disorders are the key to the onset. Therefore, the research on its immune genetic mechanism and the correlation analysis of heredity and clinical phenotype are currently research hotspots and difficulties. The analysis of these key scientific issues will bring revolutionary changes to the prevention and control of autoimmune diseases.
