Second stop: The former site of the Huangyan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China

The old site of the Huangyan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China during the War of Resistance Against Japan was located in Huangyan Maosheng Primary School, which was a municipal -level patriotic education base. The old site of the Memorial Hall was originally Wenchang Pavilion. Above the school gate is a plaque of the "Mao Xie Elementary School" inscribed by the revolutionary painter Chen Shuliang. On the walls of the two sides of the door, there is a slogan "The work of labor, the scientific mind; the spirit of creation, the interest of art".

In June 1990, the party history display room was established in the original Mao Xiao. Repair in 2002. On the eve of the "July 1st" in 2007, a square and monument were built in front of the memorial hall. In March 2014, the exhibition hall on the first floor of the museum was renovated, and the facilities and functions were more complete. The commemorative hall covers an area of ​​530 square meters and a construction area of ​​550 square meters. The front is the gate, the back is the auditorium, and the left and right are two -story wooden structure houses. The exhibition content is divided into 4 major sections, consisting of more than 400 precious historical photos, and is arranged in two exhibition halls, which compares the history of Huangyan party from the May 4th Movement to the period of liberation of the country.

In 1934, Lin Sizhai served as the principal of Maoxian Elementary School. He used school opportunities to conduct revolutionary activities. Later, Mao Xie Elementary School established the "Mao Xiao Salvation Congress" and "Mao Xiao Children's Visit". In March 1938, the CCP Maoxian Primary School branch was established. In May 1938, the Huangyan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China was rebuilt. Lin Sizhai was the secretary of Lin Sizhai. After the reconstruction of the county party committee, party organizations have been developed in Chengguan, Xinqiao, Wuyan and other places. In more than two years, 7 district committees and 1 special branch have been established. The county has developed a total of 65 branches and 520 party members. The county party committee led the anti -Japanese salvation campaign here, and Maoxian Elementary School became the center of the Huangyan Revolution at that time.

In November 1985, the Memorial Hall was announced by the Taizhou Municipal People's Government as a cultural relics protection unit in Taizhou. In March 1998, the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and the Taizhou Municipal People's Government were announced as Taizhou Patriotic Education Base.
