According to Tas Society, Russian President Putin and Indian Prime Minister Modi held a telephone conversation on the 1st, saying that the two parties supported the two countries to further consolidate the partnership between the two countries.
Announcement issued by the Russian Presidential News Agency stated that the leaders of the two countries discussed the important issues in Russian -Indian relations and pay special attention to the further development of mutually beneficial relations in the economic field. The two parties are satisfied with the significant increase in bilateral trade, including agricultural products trade, and expressed their willingness to comprehensively consolidate the special strategic partnership between Russia and India.
It is reported that Russian and Indian leaders have studied the global food market in detail. Putin pointed out that systemic mistakes made by some countries have led to the damage of the entire food free trade structure, which has caused rising grain prices, and illegal sanctions on Russia have aggravated the difficult situation. He believes that the world energy market is also adversely affected by the same factors.
Putin emphasized that for Indian and other partnerships, Russia will still be reliable grain, fertilizer and energy production countries and suppliers in the future.
