[Daqing Datong] "Nine Restaurant" opened the third excavation

Recently, the "Nine Division Sites" began the third excavation. Li Yuanguang, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Minister of Propaganda Department, and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Liu Xiaodong, deputy director of the Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology, participated.

The "Jiujian Site" is located in Gao Ligang, one kilometer in the southwest of Jiujian Village, Sun Sheng Town, Datong District, Daqing City.

After investigation and exploration, the total area of ​​the site is about 210,000 square meters. Heilongjiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology and the Department of Archeology at Heilongjiang University sent more than 30 archaeological teams to continue excavating the third 500 square meter area this year.

It is reported that this year is the third excavation of the nine ruins, and it is also the fourth year since the work of the nine archeological teams. In 2019, more than 500 important relics such as the unearthed porcelain, iron, and bone wares were excavated. Nearly 300 pieces such as relics, brick and tiles, and copper coins were obtained. In 2021, nine sites for local exploration and special surveys of archeological relics around the same period were carried out. This year, the third 500 square meter area will be excavated.
